ASEAN Cultural Festival, ANU 10th Aug
Cambodian Students’ Association (CSAC) is happy to represent Cambodia to participate in ANU ASEAN Cultural Festival, which will be held at ANU campus (Copland Courtyard close to Toad Hall building) on Saturday 10th August, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. There will be a lot of activities and performances such as dancing, music, cultural shows and food stalls from different ASEAN countries. As one country of ASEAN, Cambodia should not miss this good opportunity to show about our tradition and culture to many international students and other people. Cambodian team is considering having a stall with Khmer food and dessert for sale during this event and a display of paintings, pictures or any materials that represent our culture and our country. As the event is open publicly to all students and guests, we are pleased to invite all Cambodian students and Cambodian residents in Canberra to participate in this cultural event. We also need a hand and help from our Cambodian residents and students preparing food and dessert, and contributing any Khmer related stuff such as Angkor Wat portrait, Apsara picture, Khmer costume, statue, scarf or Kramar, etc. for display purpose. CSAC team would like to say thank you in advance and we hope to receive contribution of displaying materials and support for this event from all Cambodian students and Cambodian residents. Please contact our CSAC team or me, Sereyroth Lim, via phone: 0451 428 089 or Socheat Srey via 0420 355 669.
