Panel discussion on the theme “Research Methods”

 

The Cambodian Student Association in Canberra is delighted to announce its academic sharing session and cordially invite all the Cambodian students to attend the session.

What : Panel discussion on the theme “Research Methods”
Why : Improvement in research skills and information dissemination on PhD scholarship
application
When : Saturday 25th October, 2014 at 4 PM
Where : Seminar room A at HC Coombs Building 9, Fellows Road, College of Asia and the Pacific,
Australian National University.

The panelists of the discussion are as follows:
1. CHHENG Kimlong, a PhD candidate, Arndt-Corden Department of Economics, Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University. His research theme is “Food security and property rights institutions.”
2. Mr. EK Somalux, Master of Education, University of Canberra. His research topic is “Towards guidelines for curriculum design in English language teacher education in Cambodian higher education institutions.”
3. Mr. LENG Thearith, a PhD candidate in Political and International Studies, University of New South Wales at the Australian Defense Force Academy, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. His research topic is “Cambodia’s Foreign Policy: The Quest for Survival and Independence.”
4. Mr. LONG Sarou , a Master’s candidate in Climate Change at Crawford School of Public Policy and Government, Australian National University. His research topic is “Indigenous Land Tenure and Climate Change Reduction in North-Eastern Cambodia.”
5. Mr. NGOUN Kimly, a PhD candidate, Department of Political & Social Change, College of Asia and the Pacific, Australian National University. His thesis’s title: Cambodian nationalism and political consolidation in the Preah Vihear conflict with Thailand: The state, the city and the border.
