Cambodian Students Association in Canberra (CSAC)
Dear All,
This is to inform that Cambodian Students Association in Canberra, abbreviated as CSAC, has come to existence now under the new statute adopted by the General Assembly with the majority vote of 83% of valid votes (direct and indirect) on Saturday13, 2010.
It should be noticed that the association is managed and led by the Executive Committee and supervised by the Steering Committee whose main role is to ensure the sustainability of the association. For further details and the new statute, visit www.khmerstudents-act.org
On the same day, the General Assembly elected Mr. Chanroeun Pa as the president of the association. Members of the Executive Committee will be appointed and announced by Mr. Chanroeun within a week. Mr. Chanroeun and his team will take charge in daily operations of the association from now on.
For the Steering committee, the G.A appointed three members:
– Mr. Kimchoeun Pak
– Mr.Chenda Keo
– Mr. Dyna Heng
The association is established to provide and promote initial and mutual assistance, and to build spirits of teamwork, mutual understanding, tolerance, and respect among Cambodian students in Canberra. CSAC aims to serve as a stimulating academic forum, a dynamic channel of cultural exchanges, and an active hub of networks among Cambodian students inside and outside Canberra.
