Students Promote Khmer Food & Desserts

About: The Multicultural Festival where more than 10 countries make own food and desserts and have traditional performance show,  share and learn each other culture. It is a great chance to meet other students and network with other nationalities.
When: 4pm 8th May 2010
Where: Toad Hal, The Australian National University, Canberra.
Ingredients for Khmer Khmer Food & Dessert
Numbahnchuk Khmer (Cambodian Noodle Soup)
Chicken bone (3kg)
Lemongrass and ingredients
sugar, salt, fish sauce, prahok, chilli
fish (2kg)
Coconut milk (2 cans)
Green papaya
Banana flower
Cucumber (2kg)
Bean sproud
Plastic bowls and spoons, shopsticks
Cheik Kh’tis (Banana Milky Dessert)
Banana (2.5kg)
Coconut milk (1 can)
tapioca pearl
Sugar (1kg)
If you are in Canberra, feel free to come and help students for food and dessert preparation, and join this wonderful event.
